The Suites at Copper Creek Inn, Mount Rainier:
"It's like sleeping in a museum." Two suites have been restored to preserve the history at Copper Creek Inn. The rooms are adorned with old restaurant tools and photos of early Copper Creek. Loggers who once rented these upstairs rooms left cork boot marks in the rich colored wood floors. In the 50s the rooms housed some of the staff, including Roselea the 1950s owner of Copper Creek. 1935 newspapers were found in the walls during renovation. Customers return year after year to Copper Creek Restaurant and tell us tales of the old days.
  • French windows look out to the towering cedar and fir trees that surround Copper Creek Inn.
  • Enjoy breakfast in bed! A delicious breakfast can be ordered and delivered to your room. Homemade breads, Copper Toppers (a cinnamon roll invented by Frenchie in the 50s during the Tacoma bread workers strike), tall stack of pancakes, a breakfast burrito and the Mountain Scramble (eggs, garlic potatoes, sausage, ham, bacon) are among the breakfast treats on our menu.
  • A wonderful restaurant downstairs serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also offer picnic lunches to take with you into Mt Rainier National Park. Homemade pies are part of the tradition at Copper Creek Inn.
  • 2 miles from Nisqually Entrance to Mt Rainier National Park
  • Each suite has a cozy sitting room with TV, VCR, CD player
  • Private bathroom with shower
